## Downgrading

Downgrading to a lower-tier plan is just as easy:

1. Follow the same steps above, but select a lower-tier plan
2. Your access to premium features **continues until the end of your current billing period**
3. At renewal, your plan switches to the new tier

### What Happens to Your Data

When you downgrade:

* **Your scorecards are preserved** — nothing is deleted automatically
* **Access may be limited** — if you exceed the new plan's limits, you'll need to archive some scorecards before creating new ones
* **Premium features become unavailable** — features like custom branding, the corporate dictionary, and premium templates will be disabled at renewal

Your historical data remains intact, but you may need to manage your active scorecard count to fit within the new plan's limits.

## Annual vs Monthly Billing

Save **20% with annual billing**:

* **Monthly billing** — pay month-to-month, cancel anytime
* **Annual billing** — pay upfront for 12 months, get 2 months free

You can switch between monthly and annual billing cycles in your billing settings.
