# Email-to-Scorecard

> Forward a job description by email to generate a scorecard automatically

Don't want to open the app? Forward a job description to Waffle by email and get a scorecard generated automatically.

## How It Works

<Steps>
  <Step title="Forward the job description">
    Send or forward an email containing the job description to:

    **[create@waffle.cards](mailto:create@waffle.cards)**

    Use the email address associated with your Waffle account so the system can match it to your workspace.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Waffle processes the email">
    The system extracts the job description from your email body (or forwarded content), identifies the role details, and generates a complete interview scorecard using the same AI engine as the chat interface.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Find your scorecard">
    The generated scorecard appears in your **library** and you'll receive a notification once it's ready. You can then refine it further via chat if needed.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Tips for Best Results

<Tip>
  The same job description quality guidelines apply here — more detail in the JD means a better scorecard. See [Writing Effective Job Descriptions](/creating-scorecards/job-descriptions) for tips.
</Tip>

* **Include the full JD** — paste or forward the complete job description, not just a link
* **One JD per email** — send separate emails for multiple roles
* **Use your registered email** — the sender address must match your Waffle account

## Other Email Addresses

Waffle also supports these inbound email addresses:

* **[support@waffle.cards](mailto:support@waffle.cards)** — reach the support team
* **[reply@waffle.cards](mailto:reply@waffle.cards)** — reply to Waffle notification emails

<Warning>
  Email-to-scorecard uses your plan's scorecard allocation. Each email processed counts as one scorecard generation (or 3 if ULTRA mode is enabled on your account defaults).
