When you first sign in to Waffle, an interactive onboarding tour walks you through the key areas of the interface. The tour highlights each element with a tooltip and a brief explanation so you can get oriented quickly.
What the Tour Covers
The tour walks through four key areas in sequence:
Chat composer
Where to paste job descriptions to generate scorecards. This is your primary workspace.
Your library
Where all your saved scorecards live. Browse, search, and manage your collection.
Settings
Where to configure your profile, billing, notifications, and corporate dictionary.

Desktop vs Mobile
The tour adapts to your device:
- Desktop — tooltips appear next to each highlighted element with a spotlight effect
- Mobile — a bottom-anchored card (iOS coach-mark style) explains each step while the target element is highlighted above. Swipe left to advance or swipe right to go back.
On both platforms, you can navigate with Next/Back buttons or skip the tour entirely.
Replaying the Tour
Want to see the tour again? You can replay it at any time:
- Go to Settings from the sidebar
- Click the “Replay onboarding tour” button
- You’ll be redirected to the chat page where the tour restarts
Replaying the tour is helpful when onboarding new team members — walk them through it on a screen share, or let them explore on their own.
